The Piercing

When you arrive you will be shown to the treatment room and will be asked to complete a registration form.  You will also be cross-checked against a list of contra-indications that would prevent you having your ears pierced.  Your ear lobes will then be examined to check whether you have any cysts or scar tissue.  The ear piercing procedure will then be explained.

After examining the ear(s) and should no contra-indications found, the area to be pierced is throughly cleansed with an antiseptic wipe.  This will safeguard against infection.  The lobes are then left to dry.

Once dry, in consultation with you, a non-toxic marker pen will be used to make a spot on the ear where it will be pierced.  Only when you agree the spot is in the correct position can piercing proceed.

Caflon's piercing earring posts have ultra-fine points that pierce gently and promote fast healing. The ear piercing is very quick, gentle and very few people feel any discomfort.
